TGH Brooksville
Serving the Hernando County community since 1932, TGH Brooksville is a 120-bed acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission, which is a testament to our commitment to upholding the highest safety and quality standards in health care. In keeping with our long and proud heritage, we remain committed to building lasting relationships with our patients, delivering safe and high-quality medical services and providing value to residents of Florida’s Nature Coast. With a dedicated team of interventional cardiologists and emergency medicine physicians who are trained in the rapid response treatment protocol for heart attacks, TGH Brooksville has earned a Chest Pain Center Accreditation with PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) from the American College of Cardiology (ACC) Accreditation Services. A coveted national “seal of approval,” this accreditation recognizes TGH Brooksville as a leader in cardiac diagnostics and interventions.
TGH Brooksville has also earned a Primary Stroke Center (PSC) Certification from The Joint Commission. This demanding certification is designed to recognize hospitals that have the specific capabilities needed to receive and treat complex stroke cases.
TGH Spring Hill
To meet the ever-increasing demand for health care in Hernando County, TGH Spring Hill opened in 1991 as a 124-bed acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission. This accreditation demonstrates our commitment to delivering high-quality health care services, adhering to best practices and ensuring a safe and effective environment for our patients and staff.

Furthermore, in recognition of our achievements in delivering evidence-based stroke care, The Joint Commission has certified TGH Spring Hill as a PSC.
TGH Crystal River
A 128-bed acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission, TGH Crystal River has been providing high-quality, compassionate health care services to residents of Citrus County since 1978. Our dedication to cultivating enduring connections with our patients, offering safe and top-tier medical services and contributing value to our community remains unwavering.

TGH Crystal River has earned both a Heart Failure Accreditation and a Chest Pain Center Accreditation with PCI from the ACC Accreditation Services. These prestigious accreditations signify that TGH Crystal River has met rigorous standards in providing timely and effective care for patients experiencing heart failure, chest pain or heart-related emergencies. Notably, this includes the capability to perform PCI, a critical procedure used to treat coronary artery blockages.
Additionally, by meeting strict standards in stroke diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation and demonstrating our commitment to ensuring optimal outcomes and quality of life for stroke patients, TGH Crystal River has earned a PSC Certification from The Joint Commission.
TGH Crystal River Emergency Center
As a freestanding emergency department, TGH Crystal River Emergency Center offers a full range of emergency medical services on a walk-in basis. Built from the ground up in 2020 to support the future growth of Citrus County, our state-of-the-art facility has eight examination rooms, two pediatric rooms, a full clinical lab and on-site imaging, including X-ray, computed tomography (CT) and ultrasound technologies.
Unlike a typical urgent care center, TGH Crystal River Emergency Center is fully equipped to address life-threatening illnesses and injuries, such as:
- Heart attacks
- Strokes
- Head trauma
- Uncontrollable bleeding
- Severe allergic reactions
- Complex bone fractures
With a team of board-certified emergency room physicians, registered nurses and lab technicians available 24/7/365, TGH Crystal River Emergency Center provides the same level of care as a hospital ER. However, we do so in a much more convenient, welcoming and comfortable setting—and typically with a shorter wait. Should we determine that a patient requires hospitalization, we will immediately begin their initial treatment, stabilize them and arrange for their transfer to the closest TGH North hospital, helping to ensure fully streamlined care. As part of TGH North, we are pleased to accept the same insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid.
