About Marci Holder, MSN, RN


Marci Holder, MSN, RN is the Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) of TGH Crystal River, formerly Bravera Health Seven Rivers (BHSR), a 128-bed acute care hospital serving residents of Citrus County and part of TGH North and the Tampa General Hospital health system. Holder joined Bravera Health Seven Rivers as its Chief Nursing Officer in August 2021. Throughout her career, she has been focused on providing high-quality care, developing a culture of safety and providing strong and effective leadership to her team.

In her role as Vice President and CNO, Holder is accountable for the nursing practice in all nursing service areas, including all nursing inpatient units, emergency departments, ambulatory and procedural areas, respiratory therapy, laboratory services, nursing education and patient experience. She spent 27 years — 17 of those in leadership positions — working with Community Health Systems (CHS), the parent company of Bravera Health.

Before joining Seven Rivers, Holder served as Chief Nursing Officer of The Orthopedic Hospital of Lutheran Health Network in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where her focus was on quality patient care and safety. During her tenure, the hospital received numerous awards and recognition in safety, quality and patient experience, including America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Orthopedic Surgery, Top 5% in the Nation for Overall Orthopedic Services, and The Joint Commission Top Performer in Key Quality Measures.

Holder holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue Fort Wayne and a Master of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University. She was a member of the Northeast Indiana Organization of Nurse Leaders, where she served as the organization’s past president. Holder is currently an active member of the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce and serves on its Board of Directors. Holder’s community involvement also includes the Citrus County Coastal Conservation Association, Citrus County Opioid Task Force, and Citrus County Healthcare Prosperity Initiative.
